John C. Mather
約翰·馬瑟（John C. Mather，1945年8 月7日－）是美國國家航空暨太空總署戈達德太空中心的高級天體物理學家。約翰·馬瑟於1968年在史瓦斯摩學院（Swarthmore College）獲得物理學學士學位，1974年在伯克利加州大學獲得物理學博士學位。他和喬治·斯穆特因發現了宇宙微波背景輻射的黑體形式和各向異性共同獲得2006年的諾貝爾物理學獎。
